Everybody loves a success story. After all, so many of us have yet to forge our own. But if you’ve done it and you can talk about it, others will want to hear your story. You could help motivate them to push through the tough times. You might even introduce them to lifestyle tips that helped you. Maybe you even have some tips and tricks to boost weight loss and keep it off? But would you sell your story?
Let’s face it. Any weight loss you’ve achieved you had to work hard for. You probably invested hard-earned cash in products and supplements to give you that edge and shed those extra pounds. You’re invested in your weight loss! So why shouldn’t you reap some rewards for that effort and cost? Here are just a few ways you can make that money back while helping others embark on the journey that led you to success:
Sell The Products That Work
Becoming an affiliate, agent, or distributor of the weight loss products that worked for you might help you earn a living from your weight loss. In fact, some of the most well-known brands out there claim that you can make a substantial amount of money by setting up a business selling their products. This could be a path to long-term regular income, but you will, of course, have to work hard for it. You need some business savvy, and great ideas for marketing to stay on top. Most importantly, you need your success story to support the effectiveness of the brand you’re selling.
Sell Your Story To The Magazines
As a one-off opportunity to earn a little cash, you might sell your story to a magazine. They usually pay you a fee of a few hundred dollars if you have your before and after photos to support your story. Of course, there needs to be a deeper angle to what you have to say. Why did you need to lose the weight? How has your life changed? Don’t forget, you won’t know who will see those photos or read your story. This isn’t the best approach if you’re shy!
Become A Lifestyle Coach
Hard work has paid off for you, but you probably didn’t do it alone. You’ve probably read hundreds of articles, tried dozens of diet plans and products, and maybe even joined a group or two. Now it’s your turn to pay it forward. You can train and qualify as a lifestyle coach then find clients that need that same support. You could be the resource they use when they want to find out more. After all, you have the answers now!
We all have a story to tell. Sometimes those stories include lots of failures and obstacles. But that’s what makes it more human and more appealing. We want to hear how you overcame those challenges. What motivated you to try again and again? Your story could generate an income. Would you be keen to share it for money?
