I was given the “Captive” book in exchange for this review.

Wow! That's what I think after I read this book. She survived and found her purpose. She was able to survive by sympathizing with him.

I liked in the beginning when she says “…I was going to agree with everything he said and try to feel his feelings…”. She first prayed for her life and then she tried to connect with him. It was a desperate situation and she had to do what she had to do. Now I won't spoil anymore. There's also a movie coming out Friday the 18th of the same name.

What is your purpose?

  1. My purpose is for me to be the best child of God I can be and to grow in my relationship with Him. Since I was diagnosed with cancer 4 yrs ago Ive grown closer to God and my two sisters.I believe everything happens for a reason. Everyday I thanked and praised God for my healing because I knew Id be fine. My sister also had cancer, the same kind 7 yrs before I had it.We had hodgkins lymphoma and we’re both cancer free. We give all the glory to God. Sure having cancer sucks but something great came out of something bad. My mom,my daughter,my 2 sisters and my 2 nieces were my rocks when I went through my treatment. They shopped, cooked and cleaned for me. I can honestly say chemo wasnt to bad,the nuprigin shots I had to get to protect my bone marrow were horrible. My bones hurt so bad. I found out that Im a lot stronger than I thought I was. God gave me strength and determination to kick cancers butt. Im cancer free 3 yrs. Thank you for the chance & great giveaway 🙂
